Roxio photo show is a Web 2.0 slideshow tool. I used to do pictures with music on powerpoint by copy and pasting each picture into each slide and it would be so time consuming. Roxio photo show is wonderful. All you need to do is sign up for a free account, upload your pictures, pick a song that they provide or you can pick from youtube, make a title, and you can create a great picture slide show. I am very excited about this because I take many pictures of the students throughout the year and I would love to put this into my wiki for the parents to see. I can use Roxio photo show to create picture shows of special projects, field trips, or for a look into our everyday classroom. This will help parents be more connected to what is going on in their child's classroom. And this allows me as an educator to show others the type of learning experiences that are taking place in our classroom.
